My love for design started in 2001 when my direct supervisor used graphic design as a hobby to help him relax after work. He showed me how easy it was to do what seemed to be simple things, and turn them into a design an entire organization was proud of. His design became our organization mascot for several years. As my skills quickly improved, I became to do to person to design program covers, certificates, banners, challenge coins and commanders coins. Among those I designed commander coins for were the 20th Air Force Commander. A Wing Commander, two Group Commanders and five Squadron Commanders. My favorite coin design was for Major General Timothy McMahon's Order of the Sword ceremony. As several different elements were needed for both sides of the coin. Another aspect of this coin was the person who contacted me directly from 20th Air Force to design the coin. Yet the most cherished part of this design was the respect I have for Major General McMahon. I was honored and humbled by this request along the positive feedback I received from everyone who received one of the coins. Since that time, I have designed several projects for various groups and individuals. To include entering design contest to gauge my talents against those who also share a love of graphic design.
